The defendant's conviction arose out of a burglary which occurred at a residential premises located at 157-57 Rose Avenue in Flushing, Queens, on May 12, 1987. The defendant argues, inter alia, that he was denied his right to the effective assistance of counsel because the attorney who represented him at his arraignment in Criminal Court failed to inform him of his right to testify before the Grand Jury and the same attorney...
