Plaintiff-appellant International Housing Limited ("IHL") commenced this action to enforce a default judgment entered against defendant-appellee Rafidain Bank Iraq ("Rafidain") in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. IHL is a corporation organized in the Cayman Islands and has its principal place of business in Nassau, the Bahamas. Rafidain is a banking corporation wholly owned by the government of Iraq.
