The present case is an appeal from the bankruptcy court's decision in the adversarial proceeding filed by plaintiff Lorraine Schmerzler. Schmerzler is the ex-wife of the debtor, Frank R. Goodnight. In her complaint, Schmerzler argued that sums due to her from Goodnight under a court order entered during their divorce reflected the support obligations of Goodnight, and accordingly were not dischargeable...
