The defendant, Jerry Kotwitz, was charged by bill of information with three counts of inciting a felony in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:28, and two counts of corrupt influencing in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:120. Following a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty of three counts of inciting a felony, one count of corrupt influencing and one count of attempted corrupt influencing.
