We have before us cross-appeals from an award of back pay and interest in the amount of $39,655.77 to six employees. This action was brought by the Secretary of Labor (Secretary) against Hogar San Jose, Inc. (Employer) and Paulina Maldonado de Alsina (Maldonado), to enforce the minimum wage, overtime, and record keeping provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 et seq.
