This case, one of first impression in Wyoming, presents questions relating to the applicability of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 to 1692o (1977), relating to abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices to the efforts of a Wyoming collection agency to collect a check upon which the drawer had stopped payment.
