Robert L. Temple, M.D. (Temple) appeals from a judgment affirming a jury verdict which found that he injured Roman G. Haack (Haack) while administering anesthesia to Haack prior to Haack's shoulder surgery. We conclude that the trial court committed reversible error during the course of trial proceedings by excluding certain evidence and thereby substantially affecting Temple's right to present a defense to the claims against him.
