Appellant-lessor filed this dispossessory action, alleging that appellee-lessee was holding over pursuant to a five-year commercial lease agreement. The lease contained a special stipulation, attached as an addendum to the agreement, which gave the lessee the option to renew the lease for an additional five-year term at an increased rental rate. The jury returned a verdict for the lessee, on the theory that he had effectively exercised his option to renew...
