This appeal arises from Judge Freeman's imposition of two consecutive ten-year sentences based on defendants' earlier convictions of breaking or entering and larceny, respectively. Judge Fountain had arrested judgment on those convictions in a case in which defendants were also convicted of, among other things, felony murder, and which resulted in the appeal to our Supreme Court styled State v. Pakulski, 319 N.C. 562<...
