OPINION

CHAPA, Justice.

Appellant, Gary Durkovitz, was convicted by a jury for the offense of recklessly causing serious bodily injury to a child. The jury assessed punishment at confinement for ten years, probated for ten years, plus a fine of $5,000.00. Appeal has been perfected. We affirm.
