HICKMAN, Justice.

Arthur Jurney was convicted of cutting his mother with a knife and raping her. He was sentenced to six years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine for second degree battery and life imprisonment for the rape. We affirm the convictions.

Jurney is a 32 year old alcoholic. At trial he admitted cutting his mother but said he had no recollection of the rape. He makes four arguments on appeal, all of which we find meritless.
