Donald W. Akers was charged with second-degree theft after he stole a pickup truck. He pleaded guilty and now challenges two aspects of the judgment entered against him: (1) the provision for ten percent interest on the restitution amount he was ordered to pay to the owner of the truck, which Akers had damaged in an accident; and (2) a "note" below the judge's signature in the court's judgment telling Akers to pay fines, surcharges, and costs with...
