The issue in this case is whether plaintiffs, who are the wives of Edmond G. Miranne, Sr. and Edmond G. Miranne, Jr., are barred by res judicata principles from asserting a claim to an interest in certain assets pledged by them and their husbands to defendant bank on the basis that a bankruptcy court has already adjudicated a similar claim by plaintiffs in the same assets and ruled that plaintiffs "have no right, title or interest in or to" the assets...
