This appeal presents squarely, for the first time, the question of which, if any, statute of limitations applies to an action of inverse condemnation.1 We hold that the three year general statute of limitations prescribed by Maryland Courts and Jud.Proc.Code Ann. § 5-101 applies; consequently, we will affirm the judgment of the Circuit Court for St. Mary's County.
