Land Reclamation, Ltd. (LRL) appeals from a grant of summary judgment dismissing its insurer, Bituminous Casualty Corporation (Bituminous), from a case alleging that LRL caused and is causing environmental pollution. In the trial court, Bituminous successfully argued that the record contains neither facts nor inferences that the pollution resulted from sudden and accidental discharges, as required for coverage under the applicable insurance policies.
