This is an appeal by defendant Mayor and Council of the Borough of Fort Lee (Mayor and Council) from a determination by the Law Division that the Mayor and Council did not have jurisdiction to hear and decide an appeal by objectors1 to a use variance granted by the Board of Adjustment (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70d; N.J.S.A. 40:55D-17a). We reverse and remand.
