This construction contract dispute involves an interpretation of the appeal provisions of a standard form contract. The controversy arose regarding an architect's decision to withhold money due to an unremedied artistic defect in brickwork. Our central concern is whether the architect's judgment regarding the amount of damages is subject to judicial review.
