PATTERSON, Judge.

Appellant, Allen Ray Jordan, was indicted by the Baldwin County Grand Jury for possession of marijuana, in violation of § 20-2-70, Code of Alabama 1975. He was convicted, after a jury trial, of the lesser included offense of possession of marijuana for personal use, and was sentenced to one year of confinement in the county jail, fined $500, and ordered to pay the court costs. The sentence was split, and appellant was ordered to serve 90 days...
