On February 13, 1989, petitioner in each of the above cases filed motion for protective order, and respondent filed his notice of objection to each motion on March 8, 1989. The Court heard argument on the motions on March 14, 1989, in New York, New York. Shortly thereafter, the parties asked the Court to refrain from further consideration of the motions until they had an additional opportunity to resolve their differences informally...
