Gordon Andrews appeals the entry of a judgment following a jury verdict for the defendant, Valley General Hospital. We affirm.

FACTS

In April 1981, Andrews, age 54, was admitted to Valley General Hospital (hereinafter Hospital) by his physician, Dr. Donald Burke, for a surgical procedure called gastroplasty plication, also known as stomach stapling. The purpose of the surgery was to treat obesity, since Andrews weighed over 300 pounds...
