SOUTER, J.

In this action for legal malpractice in failing to make adequate disclosure of a cloud on the title to real property, the plaintiff appeals a defendant's verdict rendered after jury trial in the Superior Court (Smith, J.). Because a verdict should have been directed for the plaintiff on the issue of liability, we reverse and remand for a new trial on damages.
