The defendant in this personal injury action brings this appeal from the denial of his motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, for a new trial.

While driving at a speed of approximately 35-40 miles per hour, the defendant struck a stationary vehicle occupied by plaintiff Gary Gibbs. Although Gibbs appeared to be uninjured when he departed the scene, he suffered a grand mal seizure approximately six weeks...
