We granted Mohave County's petition for review of a court of appeals' opinion holding that Mohave County was not liable for the costs of housing prisoners arrested, charged or convicted of violating a city ordinance, but was liable for the cost of housing prisoners charged or convicted of violating a state statute. We have jurisdiction pursuant to Ariz. Const. art. 6, § 5(3), A.R.S. § 12-120.24 and Ariz.R.Civ.App...
