Industrial Indemnity Company of the Northwest, Inc. (IIC) sought a declaratory judgment that David Kallevig intentionally caused a fire in a restaurant owned by him and insured by IIC. The Kallevigs counterclaimed for breach of contract and consumer protection violations. Robert and Joan Kraft intervened. IIC appeals (1) a judgment of $248,451 on a jury verdict awarding Mr. Kallevig and his wife damages caused by the fire and by IIC's failure to handle...
