Defendant appeals as of right from his conviction by jury of three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b(1)(c); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(c), and one count of kidnapping, MCL 750.349; MSA 28.581. Defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of life imprisonment for the CSC convictions and a fifteen- to forty-year term of imprisonment for the kidnapping conviction. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
