Defendant General Accident Assurance Company of Canada appeals as of right from a January 14, 1988, order of the Wayne Circuit Court granting the plaintiff $169,069.24 in supplemental attorney fees. In awarding the attorney fees, the lower court found the defendant's failure to pay no-fault personal protection insurance benefits to be "unreasonable" pursuant to MCL 500.3148(1); MSA 24.13148(1).
