State of Louisiana, et al.,552 So.2d 14 (La.App. 5 Cir.1989), arise from a head-on two-car collision on U.S. Hwy. 61 about 1,200 feet east of the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge in St. Charles Parish. Five of the occupants of the cars died; the sole survivor, a four-year-old boy, sustained serious injuries. Judgment was rendered absolving the state Department...
