Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of one count of filing a false police report of the theft of a vehicle (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 95 1/2, par. 4-103(a)(6)) and two counts of insurance fraud (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 73, par. 1101). Following the denial of defendant's post-trial motion, defendant received concurrent sentences of 24 months' probation and 40 hours of community...
