McHUGH, Justice:

This appeal presents an important question under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act and under the Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act, specifically, whether a state remains the "home state" of children under those two Acts, for a reasonable period of time, where the children have been abducted to and concealed in another state by one of the parents.
