Kathleen Hoffman brought suit against Rickey Neil Singley and an unidentified driver (John Doe) to recover damages arising out of an automobile accident in which she was injured. Hoffman's uninsured motorist carrier, Travelers Insurance Company, was served with a copy of the complaint and summons pursuant to OCGA § 33-7-11 (d).
