ASCH, J.

Defendant stands convicted of the cold-blooded execution of two men. After surprising his two victims, defendant shot one in the head, killing him instantly. He then stabbed the other repeatedly in the neck and upper back, leaving him to bleed to death. Defendant's guilt was proven beyond a reasonable doubt and this guilt is not even contested on appeal.
