Defendant, Neil Blitstein, was convicted of theft by deception following a trial without a jury. The trial court sentenced defendant to two years' probation. On appeal, defendant contends that he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and that the three-year statute of limitations had run when the State filed its indictment. Although
