Defendant, Barton Greenberg, pled nolo contendere to one count of larceny by false pretenses, MCL 750.218; MSA 28.415, in exchange for dismissal of eighteen counts charging him with violating the Michigan Uniform Securities Act, MCL 451.501 et seq.; MSA 19.776(101) et seq., and one additional count of larceny by false pretenses. The court sentenced defendant to six years eight months...
