The defendant, Rex Snook, was charged in a substitute information with one count of sexual assault in the second degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-71 (a) (4),1 two counts of risk of injury to a minor, in violation of General Statutes § 53-21,2 and one count of sexual assault in the third degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-72a (a) (2).3
