This appeal involves a summary process action brought by the plaintiff landlords, based on the defendants' nonpayment of rent in violation of the terms of a lease. At trial, the defendants contended that the plaintiffs had breached the lease by wrongfully permitting a third party to occupy the premises to the exclusion of the defendants.
