The appellants, Jerry and Wayne Barnes, d/b/a Barnes Brothers Auto Body Repair, repaired a wrecked automobile belonging to Ann Burson, with respect to which the appellee, General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), held a perfected security interest. Appellants had constructive notice of GMAC's security interest before commencing repairs. Burson abandoned the vehicle at the appellants' body shop without paying for the repairs, and GMAC subsequently...
