The defendant, Robert David Dedrick, has been indicted for first degree murder in the stabbing death of Luis Ramirez. Following his June 1, 1987 arrest on this charge, Dedrick moved to suppress various statements he made to police officers and physical evidence seized from a Manchester apartment pursuant to a search warrant. The Superior Court (Murphy, J.) suppressed some of the statements and all of the physical evidence in question after a September...
