This is an appeal from an order of the Probate Court for the district of Old Lyme ascertaining the heirs and ordering the distribution of the intestate estate of Paul Hotarek, a deceased minor. See General Statutes § 45-288 et seq. The order provided that the defendant, Suzanne Benson, the biological mother of Paul Hotarek, was an heir of the deceased and entitled to inherit one half of his estate.
