This is the second appeal of a death penalty sentence. A jury in Will County found the defendant, Henry Brisbon, guilty of the murder of his fellow inmate, Richard "Hippie" Morgan, at Stateville penitentiary. Following this verdict, in a separate sentencing hearing, the jury found there were no mitigating factors sufficient to preclude a death sentence...
