Essex Collins and Milenko Bjelicic were employed by a contracting firm owned by Luis Garcia to do exterior painting on a 10-story building in Manhattan. The scaffold on which the men were working was not properly secured and when Bjelicic bent over to pick up something, the scaffold moved away from the building wall. Bjelicic fell to his death. Collins, who unsuccessfully tried to save him, suffered...
