PRESIDING JUSTICE FREEMAN delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant, Stephen Wielgos, was charged by information with delivery of more than 30 grams of a controlled substance, i.e., cocaine. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 56 1/2, par. 1401(a)(2).) A jury convicted defendant, and the trial court sentenced him to six years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals.
