The plaintiff, Lewis Lamar Free alleges constitutional violations that gave rise to liability under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and breaches of common law duties to the plaintiff as a result of defendants' alleged repeated denials of medical care needed by the plaintiff. Free was wounded during a shoot-out with law enforcement officials. After his arrest, he was taken to Greenlawn Hospital, where he was treated by Dr. Robert C. Granger. Dr. Granger...
