The Houston Sports Association (HSA) is a Texas corporation that owns and operates the Astrodome and the Houston Astros Baseball Club. In 1979, the defendant-appellee, John J. McMullen, formed the Houston Astros Limited Partnership (HALP) to purchase the capital stock of HSA from its creditors.
