Levin Hunter, Sr., and his wife sued the Intreprinderea de Explore Flott Maritime NAVROM ("Navrom") pursuant to the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, 33 U.S.C. § 901 et seq. In a thorough opinion, the district court granted summary judgment for Navrom on the ground that the vessel had no duty to protect Hunter against the condition which caused his injury, 690 F.Supp. 517.
