After a bench trial, the district court judge convicted defendant Kenneth Nash of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and of carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking offense in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c). The court sentenced Nash to six months imprisonment for the possession conviction and to five years imprisonment...
