Defendant-appellant Robert Snyder appeals his conviction on four counts of a forty count indictment charging him with violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1952(a), 1961, 1962(d), and 1963, and the Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). The indictment was returned on November 13, 1980, and alleges in Count 1 that Snyder and several other named defendants conspired...
