This is a civil rights action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e, et seq. (Title VII), by the plaintiff Paul Daniels against the City of Alcoa and the Alcoa School System Board of Education, with whom the plaintiff had been employed as a band director. The plaintiff (a black male) alleges that he was subjected to disparate treatment as compared to two white teachers in similar circumstances...
