This diversity action arises out of the fatal crash of a General Dynamics F-16 fighter aircraft piloted by Air Force Captain Theodore Harduvel. After a two-week trial, a jury found General Dynamics liable for defects in the plane and awarded Harduvel's estate and survivors a total of $3.1 million in damages.
