In Rousseff v. E.F. Hutton Co. Inc., 843 F.2d 1326 (11th Cir.1988), this court reversed the judgment entered by the district court in favor of appellee Mr. Christ Rousseff on his federal securities law and state common law claims because the district court failed to submit the issue of proximate cause to the jury. However, we were unable to discern whether this flaw in the trial proceedings was fatal to the claim...
