BACKGROUND

Plaintiffs filed this suit against Pan-American Life Insurance Company (PALIC) and the PALIC Employee Retirement Benefit Plan (the Plan) as a class action1 for penalties and damages for violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq. Plaintiffs also allege unjust enrichment and third-party beneficiary claims....
